We were very fortunate to welcome Dr. Carey Wright, MD State Superintendent, Mr. William J. Barnes, HCPSS Superintendent, and members of the MD and HCPSS Board of Education to Waverly earlier this week! They enjoyed seeing all of the excellent teaching and learning that occurs in our school every day! 

Dr. Wright served as an amazing Principal at Waverly ES from 1992-1998! We were honored to welcome her back home after 26 years! She hired several staff members who are still working in our school today! What a powerful legacy!
