Hour of Code

The Hour of Code, a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered.

Kindergarteners through Fifth graders at Waverly will participate in the Hour of Code during the week of December 4th.  What is Hour of Code you are asking? Click here to learn why it is important to introduce children to Comptuer Science.

The students are going to be using these coding sites on Mrs. Hataway's Website. to learn about computer science. They can also visit Hour of Code and go beyond the Hour of Code. (Students can take additional courses)
